Panda Scientist will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or services. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for personal injury, death, property damage, or other losses, even if Panda Scientist has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In any event, the total liability of Panda Scientist to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action arising from this agreement or your use of our website shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Panda Scientist for the order or service in question.
Return and Refund Policy
Printing Issues and Reprints
If you encounter any discrepancies or defects in the printing of your product, or if the product does not match your specified requirements, please notify Panda Scientist within 3 working days of receiving your order. In cases of faulty printing or deviations from specified printing, we will offer a reprint of your original order but will not provide a refund. The assessment of defects is conducted by our management team. To initiate a reprint, customers are required to send digital photos of the defective product at their own expense within 7 business days. Please note that charges for expedited orders are non-refundable.
Payment, Order Placement, and Cancellations
Pricing and Currency
All product prices on the Panda Scientist website are listed in USD (U.S. Dollars), and payments are accepted in the same currency. Your order will be processed once we receive the full payment, including any applicable taxes and shipping charges, via a verified payment method.
Order Confirmation
The order process includes the submission of your final design specifications, either as an electronic file or hard copy. Once confirmed and sent to our production team, no changes to the design or timing can be made.
Cancellation Policy
Orders can be canceled within 4 hours of proof approval, incurring a fee of $25 and 5% of the total order amount. Cancellations after 24 hours will be charged 50% of the total order value to cover time and resources used. Cancellations beyond the 24-hour window are not guaranteed.
Design Orders
Panda Scientist does not offer refunds for design service orders. Once an order for design services is placed, it is final and non-refundable.
Sales Tax Policy
Tax Application
Panda Scientist adheres to state tax laws as they apply to our transactions. In compliance with these laws, customers placing orders from within the state of Illinois (IL) are required to pay sales tax in addition to the cost of the products and services.
Tax-Exempt Customers
If you are a tax-exempt customer within Illinois, it is necessary to provide your tax exemption certificate at the time of placing your order. This certificate must be valid and up-to-date to be accepted. Upon verification of your tax-exempt status, the sales tax will be waived for your order. We encourage all customers to ensure they are aware of and comply with their respective state tax regulations when ordering from Panda Scientist. Customers Submitted Artwork/Files
Artwork Requirements
At Panda Scientist, our designers work with the artwork you submit to create exceptional designs. To ensure the best quality printing, we require that your artwork files be submitted in 300 dpi (dots per inch) resolution and in CMYK format. If the submitted files do not meet these specifications, such as differing font sizes or non-CMYK format, Panda Scientist cannot be held responsible for any resulting issues like blurriness, color exaggeration, or deviations from your expected print outcome.
Responsibility for Submitted Content
Customers are responsible for any discrepancies in the printed product due to the orientation or sequence of the submitted order. While our team takes every precaution to prevent loss or damage, Panda Scientist is not liable for any such loss of your printed orders. By uploading artwork or files to our website, you affirm that you have legal ownership or the right to use this material.
Panda Scientist reserves the right to refuse any order that we believe may be unlawful or infringes upon third-party rights. As a customer, you bear full responsibility for the content created based on your instructions. We reserve the right to decline orders without explanation, especially those deemed offensive, indecent, or abusive.
Proofs and Color Accuracy
Proof Review and Approval
The order process includes your submission of the final design in an electronic file or hard copy. The production will commence only after we receive your approval of the proof. It is your responsibility to review and verify the proof. Delays caused by waiting for approval of proofs can impact the overall turnaround time, which is calculated from the point of proof agreement.
When reviewing proofs, please check thoroughly for any potential errors in spacing, copy, layout, punctuation, image placement, and text. Electronic proofs may not accurately represent transparency, overprinting issues, or color shifts from RGB or Pantone to CMYK. We are not responsible for lamination effects on the printed product.
Color Matching
While we strive to match the colors in your submitted artwork as closely as possible, due to the inherent limitations of printing processes and varying ink requirements, exact color accuracy cannot be guaranteed. By placing an order, you acknowledge this limitation. Our team endeavors to achieve the closest possible match, but variations between your expected color and the printed product are not grounds for reprinting. Panda Scientist is not liable for color matching or ink density on the final product as approved by you. For guaranteed color precision, we offer the option of ordering a hard copy proof at an additional cost.

Panda Scientist is committed to providing high-quality custom packaging and printing services. However, it is important to note that we are not responsible for certain types of errors in the final printed product. These errors include, but are not limited to:
Packaging and Shipment
Please note that all packaging materials provided by Panda Scientist are shipped flat and pre-assembled for ease of use and to maintain the integrity of the product during shipping.
Gang Printing
Printing Technique Policy
Panda Scientist typically does not employ the gang printing method for the majority of our printing products. We reserve the right to select the printing technique that best suits the requirements of both the company and our customers, ensuring the highest quality output for each project.
Overruns and Underruns
Delivery Quantities
While Panda Scientist endeavors to deliver the exact quantity of products ordered, there may be instances of slight overruns or underruns. We generally provide up to 5% extra quantity of the ordered products at no additional charge. In cases of underrun, we will only charge for the actual quantity delivered. This approach follows the industry standard of a 5% variance in product quantities.
Production Speed, Shipping, and Delivery of Orders
Production and Turnaround
Once your order payment is complete and you have submitted your artwork/files in either hard or electronic form, and after the proof is approved, the production and printing turnaround time begins. When placing an order, you can choose the desired production speed, indicating the number of working days from printing to shipment. Proof approvals must be sent before 10 am Central Standard Time (CT) to adhere to the selected production schedule.
Shipping and Delivery
Panda Scientist strives to ensure timely delivery of your products. However, we are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from shipping delays, including those caused by weather or customs issues beyond our control. If there is a problem with the printing process that results in a delay, only the charges related to printing will be refunded, as orders are not canceled due to such delays.
Customers are responsible for all custom duties and fees when shipping to locations outside the USA. It is the customer’s responsibility to clear customs charges for international shipments. Our standard shipping timeframe within the USA is 10 to 12 days, with an expedited option of 6-8 days available, plus an additional 2-3 days for ground shipping. Shipping to locations outside the USA may incur additional charges. We are not responsible for delivery transportation timings, and any loss or damage occurring during shipping is not the legal responsibility of Panda Scientist. However, incidents of loss or damage should be reported within 6 working days after shipment.
Should there be an error in the submission of the complete delivery address, resulting in incorrect shipment, additional shipping and handling charges will be applied for reshipment.
